About Us

We are an independent owner-led private practice, established in Wollaton, Nottingham in 1995. We are a friendly dental practice located on Bramcote Lane in Wollaton. We are welcoming new private patients alongside our existing patients from all over Nottingham.

Some of our patients even travel to us from other cities across the UK. As experts in oral health, we are privileged that our patients trust us to give them high quality, professional dental care, in a friendly and relaxed environment.

When it all started

Established in 1995, the practice has grown and developed over the past three decades.

We have five qualified and experienced dentists with over 100 years collective expertise. In addition we have three dental therapists and a hygienist. Our dedicated and committed support team includes our dental nurses, a front of house team, a practice and finance manager.

About the practice

Our practice has five clinics, state of the art equipment including digital intra oral scanners and a spacious, light waiting room to make our patients feel welcome and relaxed.

Accessibility

We have ample parking opposite the practice and a dedicated parking space immediately outside the door for our disabled patients, making appointments as stress free as possible. We are a single storey practice with good access for people who use wheelchairs.

As part of our high quality dentistry services, patient care and comfort are our top priorities, as well as our ongoing commitment to hygiene and cross infection control.

Whether it’s a dental health check you need, troublesome toothache or emergency treatment, we’re here to help you and your family.

Digital Dentistry

Since investing in our digital intraoral scanner, our patients now experience the benefit of having their teeth digitally scanned instead of having to have a messy impression. A digital scanner creates a 3D image of your teeth without traditional impressions. We can monitor the current condition of your dentition with 3D imaging and our work flow for our crown, bridge and implant work is now fully digital, enabling a more efficient service and a highly accurate finish.

We are a fully computerised practice with digital radiography and a cone-beam CT scanner. Not only does this give a lower radiation dose than a standard X-ray unit but it also means that any radiographs taken can be viewed more or less instantly. Patients benefit from getting a diagnosis on the day of their appointment, rather than having to wait for X-rays to be processed externally or make a follow up appointment.

Anna my dentist is exceptional explained everything before the work is carried out so gentle the quality of her dental work is of the highest standard.
The reception staff are so helpfull always try there best to get you an appointment.
Especially Catherine who has helped me several times nothing is too much trouble.
Leanne my hygienist is first class very thorough and explains how to look after your teeth at home.

They always make me feel comfortable and explain everything that will happen during the appointment. Gone are the days of fear of going to the dentist, WDC gives a standard of care over and above the norm. I would recommend WDC without any reservation.

I arrived for my 4 year-old son's appointment today and was mortified to be informed by the receptionist that I was actually a month early 🤣🫣. She very kindly offered to see if they could still fit him in and they did. Anna was so kind and attentive. She went over and above to put him at ease and to answer my questions. The ladies on the desk made a huge fuss of my baby too. What could have been a very embarrassing and stressful experience was a really lovely start to our day and our summer holidays. This is the best practice in every respect that I have ever dealt with from dentists hygienists and administrative staff to the safety of the scaffolding! The whole atmosphere of the building is great even now as they are in the middle of major building work which the staff are coping with admirably.
