My name is Inga and I am in my first year of graduate entry dentistry. Wollaton Dental Care is a practice that I had always heard great things about, from their high standard of clinical work to the level of care and attention that they show to each of their patients. I had the wonderful opportunity to work shadow dentists Anna and Simon Lawson, Gemma Dix and also Dental Therapist Leanne Braisby. Over the course of the three days I was able to see a wide range of treatments including extractions, bridge placements, root canal treatments, implant adjusting, denture fitting and not to mention the use of the 3D scanner.
It has proven to be a most invaluable experience, enabling me to see being put into practice the work and theory which I am currently learning and at a stage where I could fully understand and appreciate what was being done. All members of staff at WDC were extremely welcoming, kind, thoughtful and helpful without exception and I was extremely touched thereby. I could not have asked for a better or more pleasant and relaxed place to go to for my work experience. For these and many more reasons, I would wish to say a big thank you once again to the wonderfully talented team.
